The performance level in the military is determined by examining physical development values by formula: Y=3.18-0.015X1+0.012X2-0.003X3+0.012X4-0.078X5+0.02X6+0.03X7 where X1 is a functional status of the cardiovascular system and a degree of adaptation - heart rate; X2 is a functional status of the cardiorespiratory system - timed expiratory capacity; X3 is a functional status and spare capacities of the cardiorespiratory system - Bogomazov's index; X4 is a functional status and spare capacities of the cardiorespiratory system and the external respiration system - Skibinskiy's index; X5 is a functional status of the cardiovascular system and spare capacities - Ruffier Dickson test; X6 - a physical fitness - knee bending test; X7 - a physical fitness - push-up test The Y value that is a prognostic performance index is calculated; if the derived value is within 1.93 to 2.56, the performance level is considered to be low; the value within 2.57 to 3.64 - shows medium performance, and 3.65 and more - high.

EFFECT: method provides higher accuracy and objectivity of determining the human performance level.
