FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to physiology and pathological physiology, can be used for rapid selection of individuals before mountaineering. The stability of the body functional systems in mountain hypoxia is assessed by analysing anthropometrical and physiological values and calculating the system stability value by formula HS-BH/(P+H), wherein HS is the hypoxic stability of the body functional systems, standard units; P is the body weight, kg; H is the height, cm; BH is the breath holding one minute after 15 push-ups with the body straight. If HS is more than 0.15, the good stability is stated; HS falling within the range of 0.10 to 0.15 shows the moderate stability; and the weak stability is stated if HS is less than 0.10.
EFFECT: method enables detecting the onset of the stable adaptation phase in the individuals going climbing, maintaining the accuracy of assessing the individual's body functional systems in the mountains environment by determining the informative values.
