FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil treatment plants and may be used in oil extracting industry. Proposed method comprises iron ore wet magnetic dressing to produce magnetite concentrate and tailings made up of haematite and martite. First, said tailings are subjected to primary hydraulic classification in hydro cyclones to extract sands into tailings. Drain waters are directed to secondary hydraulic classification in hydro cyclones to extract drain waters into tailings. Sand waters are directed to control hydraulic classification in hydro cyclones to extract drain waters into tailings. Control hydraulic classification sands are directed to flotation to produce haematite concentrate and tailings. Control hydraulic classification sands are subjected to flotation in main stage to extract foam product into tailings while inner tube product of primary flotation is directed to cleaner flotation to extract foam product into tailings and crude product as inner tube product. Foam products of primary and cleaner flotation processes are subjected to additional check flotation to extract foam product into tailings while check flotation inner tube product is directed into main flotation feed line. Material classification at secondary hydraulic classification is performed in smaller-size hydraulic cyclones compared to primary stage while check hydraulic classification is performed in smaller-size cyclones compared to those of hydraulic classification second stage.
