FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: granulated quartz-containing charge is sent to the heating zone in dosed portions. Granules are mixed. The porous ceramic block is formed when a layer of liquid glass phase appears on the surface of granules. The form with the porous ceramic block is removed from the heating zone in the beginning of crystallisation.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and reduction of power inputs for manufacturing of ceramic blocks, production of a homogeneous structure and even surface of all block faces.
