FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: plant comprises a PC 1, connected to a double-channel pulse generator 2. The generator 2 is connected to ultrasonic radiators 3, 4. The radiators 3, 4 generate acoustic pumping waves. The acoustic wave of difference frequency that originates in liquid insulation is received by a hydrophone 6. The channel to receive, detect and process signals is designed to process a signal of the difference frequency wave and transmits information into a solving unit 15. A temperature sensor 7 and a pressure sensor 8 in the monitored area of liquid insulation are connected to the solving unit 15. The solving unit 15 connected to the PC 1 makes it possible to identify break-down voltage of liquid insulation. The unit 15 is communicated with the comparison unit 16, connected to the PC 1, and making a conclusion on the dangerous condition of liquid insulation. The comparison unit 16 sends a signal to a device 17 that alarms dangerous condition of liquid insulation in high-voltage oil-filled electric equipment.
EFFECT: reduced breakdown rate of oil-filled equipment.
