DEVICE FOR MONITORING POWER TRANSFORMERS Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC G01R31/62

Abstract RU 2779269 C1

FIELD: testing equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of diagnostics of electrical complexes and is intended to determine the insulation defects of power transformers by the presence of partial discharges recorded by the acoustic method. Essence: the device for monitoring power transformers contains a unit for monitoring the intensity of partial discharges, acoustic sensors, a unit for monitoring the temperature of windings, a calculation models unit, a unit for visualizing controlled parameters. Acoustic sensors are installed on the tank of the power transformer. Their outputs are connected to the input of the partial discharge intensity control unit, the output of which is connected to the input of the calculation models unit. The input of the unit for monitoring the temperature of windings of the power transformer is connected to the other input of the calculation models unit. The output of the calculation models unit is connected to the input of the unit for visualizing controlled parameters. To compensate for temperature errors caused by seasonal temperature changes, changes in viscosity and attenuation coefficient during the propagation of acoustic waves, a defect simulator unit containing an adjustable DC power supply, an electronic switchboard, a clock generator, a step-up transformer, an oil-filled tank, an electric spark gap, a defect simulator temperature control unit, a temperature maintenance unit is additionally introduced into the device in an oil-filled tank, acoustic sensors, installed on the body of the oil-filled tank of the defect simulator. The sensors are connected to the inputs of the second channel of the partial discharge intensity monitoring unit. The output of the regulated DC power supply is connected to the input of the electronic switch unit, to the other input of which the output of the clock generator is connected. The output of the electronic switchboard is connected to the input of the electrical spark gap. The defect simulator temperature control unit is connected to the third input of the calculation models unit.

EFFECT: reduction of the probability of detecting false defects.
