FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates the technology of silicates and production of glass which can be used in making dishware, candlesticks, ashtrays, small figurines, beads and buttons. The mixture for making glass contains quartz sand, soda and glass cutting sludge, with the following ratio of components in wt %: quartz sand - 20.0-25.0; soda - 7.0-11.0; glass cutting sludge - 64.0-73.0.
EFFECT: low melting temperature of the glass.
