FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the industry of construction materials and can be used in making glased asbestos-cement roofing sheets. The method of glasing asbestos-cement roofing sheets involves coating the front surface of asbestos-cement roofing sheets with liquid glass, followed by plasma sputtering of glase powder with plasmatron operating power of 9 kW, glaze powder consumption of 3.25-3.50 g/s and speed of propagation of the plasma burner on the surface of the asbestos-cement roofing sheets of 0.4 m/s.
EFFECT: high quality of said sheets - high frost resistance, adhesion strength of the coating on the surface of said sheets, faster glasing and low power consumption.
