FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves plasmic fusion of face surface of a ceramic article with simultaneous glazing powder sputtering at useful plasmotron power of 15 kW, glaze powder consumption of 2.75-3.00 g/min and plasmic burner throughput over ceramic surface of 0.25 m/s.
EFFECT: improved product quality; accelerated glazing process and reduced stress in glaze layer.
