SUBSTANCE: data elements of an article are compiled from a digital model, where data elements of the article contain geometric data elements and metadata elements. Geometric data elements are addressed to a geometric structure (2) and are given therein. Metadata elements are addressed to a meta structure (1) and are given therein. The geometric structure (2) and meta structure (1) are then linked using a communication protocol (3), so that two-way interaction is realised between the geometric structure (2) and the meta structure (1).
