FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely neurosurgery. Orbitosigomatic osteotomy is performed, in which the bone flap consisting of the lateral margin of the orbit, the zygomatic arch, the part of the body of the malar bone, parts of the frontal and temporal bones. Then, the temporal muscle dissection is performed to the level of the transverse ridge. Jaws are bred with the help of a rotator in the distance between the central incisors until the movement of the lower jaw is restricted in the temporomandibular joint. Coronary appendage of the lower jaw with the temporal muscle attached to it is withdrawn down and back, and with the help of boron resection of the large wing of the sphenoid bone to the base of the pterygoid process of the sphenoid bone is performed.
EFFECT: method allows to increase the operative field and provides a broad approach to the medial divisions of the transverse, pterygopharyngeal fossa and the near-globular space, and also allows to reduce postoperative complications, which is achieved due to the maintenance of blood supply to the temporal muscle and lower jaw.
