FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, paediatrics and may be used both in clinical environment, and outpatiently for the purpose of rehabilitation of newborns with birth cervical injures. Aquatic physical exercises are made at least 3 times a week, by 45-50 minutes; the therapeutic course is at least 10 procedures. The aquatic procedures are conducted in a room at temperature 24-26 degrees and preceded by massage and warm-up physical exercises. Then a baby is vertically carried in water at temperature 35-36 degrees with making 7-8 vertical jumps to lifting the baby vertically above water to the level of a xiphoid process and drowning to the level of a suprasternal notch. Jumps are made with advancing and carrying back. Then the baby is drown and kept in a back lying position so that his/her body itself is positioned horizontally; then the body made to slide along a figure-of-eight trajectory for 15-20 times. Then the baby is hand-clasped in various ways and kept in a back lying or prone position to make figure-of-eight sliding motions for 15-20 times as described by the patent claim. The baby's body is bent and extended at the angle varying within 60-80 to 180 degrees, counting two or four for at least 15 times. Water temperature during the exercises decreases to 32-33 degress.
