FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutics.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to cardiosurgery, and may accompany artificial circulation in infants. For this purpose, the circulating blood volume is ultra-filtered. An ultra-filter inlet line is built in a shunt coupling arterial and venous manifolds of the artificial circulation. An outlet line is built in a port coupling it with a venous reservoir and with a right atrium.
EFFECT: higher safety and effectiveness of the ultra-filtration procedure ensured by enabled staged and controlled hemoconcentration, as well as complete blood component displacement from the extracorporeal circulation.
