METHOD OF ORGANOPROTECTION IN CASE OF CARDIAC SURGERY INTERFERENCES WITH ARTIFICIAL BLOOD CIRCULATION Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61M1/10 A61M16/00 A61B17/00

Abstract RU 2681124 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to cardiovascular surgery, intensive care, and can be used for cardiac surgery with the use of a heart-lung machine. To do this, after reaching the estimated volumetric perfusion rate and perfusion balance in the period of the first parallel blood circulation, NO is supplied to the extracorporeal circulation circuit in a dose of 40 ppm. This protocol of NO supply is maintained throughout the whole period of artificial blood circulation. After removal of the clamp from the aorta, the restoration of effective cardiac activity during the second parallel blood circulation, the flow of NO into the extracorporeal circulation circuit is stopped. Immediately after disconnecting the patient from the heart-lung machine, NO is applied through the circuit of the ventilator in a dose of 40 ppm. This protocol of NO supply is maintained during the operation and further for 4 hours after the interference.

EFFECT: method provides organoprotection and improvement of the results of surgical intervention for cardiac surgery interventions due to selected protocols of NO supply, which eliminates the possibility of reperfusion injury and systemic inflammation.
