FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to cardiac surgery. After artificial blood circulation is completed and the arterial cannula is removed, the blood contained in the aortic line is returned by reverse rotation of the arterial pump to the oxygenator and cardiotomy reservoir until the arterial part of the ultrafiltration column and the aortic line are connected. A line clamp is then applied above the arterial point of blood collection into the ultrafiltration column. The loop of the line is removed from the arterial pump, a roller with the arterial line of the ultrafiltration column loaded therein is sent in the direction of movement of blood from the oxygenator to the cardiotome at a speed of 100 ml/min. A vacuum aspirator with a hollow reservoir is then connected to the line for ultrafiltrate discharge from the ultrafiltration column, the evacuation level on the vacuum aspirator is set within 150 mm Hg. When the cardiotomy reservoir is filled with atmospheric air to the level of branching of the venous line, the roller pump of the ultrafiltration column and the vacuum aspirator are stopped. A 50 ml syringe is connected to the venous line of the ultrafiltration column and filled with hemoconcentrate. Then the hemoconcentrate is injected to the patient through the venous cannula.
EFFECT: method reduces the infusion load on the child due to the reduction in the utilised volume of concentrated perfusate, and preserves the formed elements and clotting factors of the blood in conditions when the artificial circulation apparatus is completely disconnected from the patient, thereby allowing for prevention of post-operative anaemia and bleeding, as well as minimisation of the use of donor blood components.
