FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to composite material and method of its fabrication. In compliance with proposed method, natural fibers are sized to equal length. Then said fibers and residues of lignocellulose materials, if any, are subjected to surface treatment by means of processing agent. Then, said components are premixed with polymer matrix representing polyethylene-terephthalate or polypropylene matrix. Then, obtained mix is extruded and granulated. Then, injection moulding is carried out. Note here that extrusion is performed at modular co-rotation two-screw extruder. Said method allows producing composite material containing secondary thermoplastic polymer in amount of 30 to 90 wt %, primary thermoplastic polymer in amount of 0.01 to 70 wt %, and natural finer or residues of lignocellulose materials or mixed thereof in amount of 0.01 to 60 wt %. Said method allows also fabricating composite material containing additionally the second natural fiber different from the first one, in amount of 0.01 to 60 wt %.
EFFECT: high impact strength, moisture resistance.
