FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: silencer of active type for motor-and-tractor engines consists of the housing including front and rear parts. Coaxially to the housing axis on support plate there installed is a dynamic with formation of a gap between housing and diffuser of the value which is not less than that chosen from condition (0.2-0.15)*dh, where dh - inner housing diameter. On rear side the dynamic is equipped with the casing provided with the possibility of connecting its inner cavity to inlet engine manifold.
EFFECT: increasing operating efficiency of silencer and service life of dynamic.
