FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed internal combustion engine has air intake system, exhaust gas system and compensating signal shaping system. The latter has sound source enclosed in hermetically sealed chamber and connected with intake branch pipe and exhaust pipe by acoustic waveguides. Vibrations of loudspeaker diaphragm are set by control unit provided with amplitude and phase compensation conditions information. Diaphragm radiates sound waves in opposite direction in antiphase.
EFFECT: reduced intake and exhaust noise using one acoustic source.
