FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: proposed variator comprises differential including pinion frame 1 as an input link, larger central wheel 4 to make output link, smaller central wheel 5, and two-row planetary mechanism incorporating pinion frame 6 with the set of differential pinions 7 and two coaxial gear wheels 8. One of wheels 8 is fixed while another one may revolve. Control lever 9 with variator is rigidly attached to the latter.
EFFECT: asymmetric differential incorporated with variator allows reducing control moment and force at control lever.
