FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is apparatus for measuring temperature distribution in a well, having a pulsed optical radiation source, a laser, a sensor detecting element in form of optical fibre and a signal processing unit. The apparatus also includes a timer, a directional optical coupler, a spectral division unit, photodetector modules, a synchronisation photodetector, analogue-to-digital converters, analogue-digital accumulators and a computer. The apparatus additionally includes temperature measuring unit, having a sensor in form of a chromel-copel compensating measuring cable which is connected by a connecting chromel-copel cable to a secondary device, the output of which is connected to the input of the converter, and the output of the converter is connected to the input of the computer.

EFFECT: correction of fibre-optic sensor signals and high accuracy of measuring temperature distribution in a well.
