FIELD: textiles, paper.
SUBSTANCE: method involves an operation of enrichment of strands of broken flax by pulling in a horizontal layer through the rotating working edges which trajectory of movement is parallel to the direction of traffic flow and force of its pulling with equal linear velocity of the edges and the flow. The device comprises a clamping conveyor 1, the bottom 2 and the upper 3 rows of console horizontal shafts with scraping disks 4 mounted on the shafts 2, 3, perpendicular to their axes. The upper row of shafts 3 is equipped with a device 5 for the ability to move with respect to the lower row of shafts 2. The clamping conveyor 1 is located at an acute angle in the opposite direction of flow in a plane parallel to the axes of shafts 2 and 3, with the possibility of changing the angle of inclination through the device 6. The surface of the working edges of the discs 4 has a ripple.
EFFECT: improved quality and efficiency of preparation of flax stock for scutching.
