FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method for detection of the presence of a luminescence marked target molecule in a sample involves (a) contact of the sample (37) and the substrate having probe molecules immobilised thereon and specifically bound with the target molecule. Washing of the substrate (38) at the washing stage with using a washing liquid for the purpose of removal or dilution of the unbound target molecules. Detection of the presence of the prepared bound complexes (39) on the substrate for detecting whether the luminescence marked target molecule is found in the sample in which the substrate is exposed to a radiation beam. The generated luminescence beam from the substrate is recorded, while the presence of the luminescence marked target molecules are found by recording luminescence of the luminescence marked target molecules. The generated luminescence beam from the substrate is recorded with the washing liquid added wherein a refraction index of the washing liquid is found within the range from the refraction index of the substrate plus 10% to the refraction index of the substrate minus 10%.

EFFECT: use of the declared method enables higher reliability of luminescence detection ensured by separation of low-intensity luminescent glow.
