FIELD: radio engineering.

SUBSTANCE: to the nomograph drawing there applied is rigid rectangular frame with an opening the dimensions of which are equal to width of input frequency range so that its sides are parallel to coordinate axes of nomograph, and frame diagonal coincides with the segment of the straight line corresponding to the main type of conversion. Frame is moved diagonally along the segment of the straight line, which corresponds to the main type of conversion, such position of the frame is fixed when its opening is crossed with lines corresponding to combination frequencies having the sequences below the specified one. On axes of the nomograph opposite the ends of orthogonal sides of the opening there counted are boundary values of normalised range of input and output frequencies. As per the measured boundary values of normalised range of input and output frequencies of converter there determined is non-normalised frequency value of heterodyne and non-normalised values of output frequencies of converter. Also, the device for method's implementation is proposed.

EFFECT: reducing the time required for search of optimum values of heterodyne and intermediate frequencies, and simplifying the method.
