FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: multiuser scheme allows several users, user groups or carrier frequencies to share on or more channels. In the invention, accessible channel bandwidth is divided into several subchannels of equal bandwidth according to standard practice of OFDM. Transmitter is informed by application program about necessity to transmit data at specific transmission rate. The transmitter determines minimum number of subchannels and maximum energy threshold (or noise) for each subchannel needed to achieve this data transmission rate, and choose set of subchannels satisfying specified requirements. There is no requirement for subchannels to be adjacent in spectrum or belong to the same channel. Once transmitter has chosen required number of subchannels it starts transmission simultaneously in specified channels along full bandwidth used by the mentioned channels.
EFFECT: higher throughput.
