SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of wireless communication between two or more devices at a minimum data rate and a wireless communication system for transmitting data at a requested rate including a plurality of communication devices, the system comprising an energy detection module to detect the noise level on one or more OFDM subchannels, a module for selecting the modulation scheme for each subchannel based on the noise level detected for that subchannel, a module for selecting the coding scheme with error correction based on the noise level detected for that subchannel. The coding scheme with the highest error correction rate on that subchannel is selected.

EFFECT: damping or eliminating noise without reducing full transmission speed.
