FIELD: tobacco industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for preparation of a smoking mixture for the hookah; the method involves milling tobacco leaves into pieces sized at least 1 cm², washing with water, drying milled highly humid tobacco, preliminarily preparation of a mixture of the initial components and their mixing with milled tobacco, maintenance of the mixture, tight packing; the method specificity is as follows: one preliminarily sorts and selects tobacco leaves undamaged by diseases and depredators and separates the stem; then one proceeds with washing milled tobacco leaves with 85-90°C water every hour during 8 hours, separating milled highly humid tobacco from water and pre-drying, stirring, with pastings being broken, drying milled tobacco inside an open vessel at a temperature of 28-30°C till the material moisture content is 20%; then one places milled tobacco into a closed vessel and maintains at a temperature of 45-50°C during 7 days; then one applies a sauce solution preliminarily prepared and cooled to room temperature on prepared and milled tobacco, stirs, additionally one introduces into the mixture a preliminarily prepared flavouring agent solution and a food colouring agent, thoroughly stirs all the components, provides for the homogeneous mixture storing inside the closed vessel at room temperature during 7 days, stirring the target product every 6 hours.
