FIELD: tobacco industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of smoking mixture intended for smoking using hookah. Method for preparation of smoking mixture for hookah envisages selection of tobacco raw material sheet, removal of average fibre, moistening and milling plates leaves to size of not less than 1 cm2, preliminary preparation of sauce and its application on tobacco, soaking and packaging. At that, in order to reduce toxicity of mixture, in milled tobacco raw material nicotine content is determined, mixed tobacco with grinded herbal additive with spicy tone in certain proportions depending on nicotine content in tobacco, but to vegetal additive is not more than 20% of total composition of end product, mixture is conditioned till moisture content 25-30%, pasteurised at a temperature of 50±5°C for 7 hours, and sauce consisting of glycerine and honey is applied heated to 60°C, mixture is held for not less than 72 hours at periodic mixing, wherein end product has following ratio of components, %:

Vegetal additive with spicy tone (thyme, marjoram) up to 20.

Glycerine 40.

Honey 15.

Tobacco raw material is rest.

EFFECT: technical result of invention is obtaining desired product with preset controlled content of nicotine, low toxicity of product due to replacement of part of tobacco material with flower-herbaceous raw material.
