FIELD: tobacco industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the tobacco industry, in particular, to the technology for production of tobacco mixtures used for smoking in hookahs. In the disclosed method of producing a smoking composition for hookah, tobacco raw materials are used based on a mixture of tobaccos of the botanical variety Berley, subjected to a preliminary testing procedure using high-saccharine sauces and having a pH level of 5.0–7.0, which is conditioned to parameters required for cutting, tobacco raw materials are cut, tobacco raw material is sourced up to 50–70 °C a homogeneous mixture of glucose-fructose syrup having pH of 3.5–5.0 and 4.0 cm³ of acidity with a mass fraction of solids of 70.0–71.5 %, as well as with content of glucose 40.0–44.0 wt% and fructose 50.0–57.0 wt%, and food glycerin to obtain a composite mixture and subsequent primary fermentation of the composite mixture for 5–10 hours at temperature of 18–25 °C, then by secondary fermentation for 1–3 hours with constant stirring of composite mixture at temperature of 120–140 °C with subsequent for 15–20 minutes by fast cooling to temperature of 18–25 °C, further finishing is carried out of natural, or natural aromatic additives in amount of 1.0–12.0 % of total weight of composite mixture with subsequent removal of composite mixture before packaging.

EFFECT: invention allows to produce smoking compound for hookah, which in its turn allows to produce smoke with stable original taste-aroma profile for long time (60-80 minutes) of smoking with preservation of taste density and stability of aroma of a smoke bouquet.
