FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for electroslag facing of instruments and articles working in abrasive wear conditions. The flux-cored wire consists of steel cladding and powder charge in the following ratio, wt %: nickel 3…5; chromium 8...12; titanium diboride 10…30; titanium carbonitride 0.1…0.6; graphite 1…3; steel cladding - the rest. The powder charge fill factor of the wire is equal to 55%. Titanium carbonitride (TiCN) is added to the powder charge in form of nanopowder. Titanium diboride (TiB2) powder has particle size 30…100 mcm.
EFFECT: flux-cored wire increases wear-resistance of weld metal due to its hardening with titanium carbonitride (TiCN) and titanium diboride (TiB2).
