FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for electric arc surfacing of wear-resistant alloys for parts operating under conditions of intensive wear at temperatures up to 800 °C impact loads, for example forging and pressing tool parts, hot rolling rolls. Wire consists of a low-carbon steel shell and a powdery mixture and contains components in the following ratio, wt. %: chromium 15–20; boron carbide 0.5–1.0; boron nitride 1.0–2.0; titanium diboride 1.0–2.5; zirconium diboride 1.0–2.5; sodium silicofluoride 0.5–1.0; iron powder 10.3–23.4; steel shell – the rest. Surfacing with flux-cored wire with this composition of the charge can be carried out in argon or under flux.
EFFECT: metal obtained by cored wire has high hardness, heat resistance while maintaining the strength properties at a high level, which can significantly increase the wear resistance of the weld metal.
