FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: control valve (1) has a casing (2) with a seat (7) and a stop (8). The stop (8) is made as capable of placement into the valve seat. The stop is put in motion via an impact surface. The maximum length of the stop (8) travel is adjusted with the help of a connecting element of adjustable length, which is installed between the impact surface (14) and the stop (8). The specified connecting element of adjustable length is made in the form of an intermediate part (10). The latter is connected to the stop (8) by means of a thread (9) and interacts with a controller (11). The controller (11) is installed in a casing (2) as capable of rotation and covers at least a part of an intermediate part (10).

EFFECT: invention provides for control of working fluid flow and pressure, in spite of the variable length of the valve stop travel.
