SUBSTANCE: device for keeping cut flowers in good condition includes a vessel for placing cut flowers in a suitable, particularly in water. For cooling the environment there is a cooling means with at least one cooling agent, which is in heat exchange contact with the medium. The cooling means comprises a cooling device, separate from the cooling agent. The cooling means is in heat exchange contact with at least one cooling agent. The heat exchange contact occurs through at least one cooling tube and the cooling medium flowing through it, at least during operation.
EFFECT: invention enables to increase the longevity of cut flowers.
