FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, medical equipment, namely optically aided tests. A method for colorimetry of a patient's body surface area involves measuring three separate primary colours of a reference sample and a tested sample, conversion of the measurement results into codes and digital signals. It involves the initial measurement of colour coordinates of the body surface areas and the post-traumatic dynamic measurement ensured by the simultaneous determination of the colour coordinates of an injured and intact (reference) patient's body surface area. The derived colour coordinates of the injured area are corrected for the colour coordinates of the intact area in accordance with colour composition law that is ensured by comparing the colour coordinates of the intact body surface area to the derived results obtained by the initial measurement with dividing the ones by the others. The colour coordinates of the injured body surface area are multiplied by the derived coefficients to derive the corrected colour coordinates of said area with tracking the dynamics of time colour shift.
EFFECT: method provides the accurate colorimetry and colour quantification of greater coloured areas ensured by directly determining the colour coordinates taking into consideration all the factors having an effect on the colour of an injured area, without the need to place the sample inside the colorimetric devices, and enables establishing a prescription of a patient's body area injury.
