METHOD FOR RATIONAL SEPARATION OF BILE DUCT IV SEGMENT FOR SMALL INTESTINAL ANASTOMOSIS Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC A61B17/00

Abstract RU 2447844 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely surgery and may be applicable for rational separation of bile duct IV segment. A conditional line KL is drawn on a visceral surface of a posterior edge of quadrate lobe and divided on 4 equal portions: KD, DE, EZ, ZL with the bile duct IV segment is found in a projection of the line ZE. In those cases if the pathological changes in said projection of bile duct IV segment complicate the preparation, the triangle ABV is conditionally plotted on the visceral surface of quadrate lobe: the lower horizontal line AV is conditionally drawn in parallel to the posterior edge of quadrate lobe; an upper horizontal line is drawn 3 cm higher than the lower horizontal line; there is a vertical line perpendicular to these lines through the point Z lying on the border of an external line 1/4 KL with the line A found on an intersection of the lower horizontal line and the vertical line, while the point B is found on an intersection of the upper horizontal line and the vertical line; the point V represents an inflow point of an umbilical vein to a left branch of a portal vein, bile duct IV segment in a projection of the line BV is separated.

EFFECT: method provided reducing a risk of vascular injuries.
