SUBSTANCE: invention relates to surgery and can be applied for rational isolation of bile duct of II segment. Projection zone of said duct is determined by line AC, which is a side of ABC triangle, where point A is formed at the intersection of horizontal line KL, drawn on anterior edge of caudate lobe of liver and vertical line VG, drawn on medial edge of left "classical" lobe of liver; point B is located at the intersection of horizontal line MN, located parallel to line KL and 2 cm lower than it and vertical line VG; point C is located on horizontal line MN and 2 cm leftwards from point B.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to reduce trauma of surgery, reduce risk of damaging vessels.
