SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gymnastic equipment and is intended, in particular, to train both hands. The expander can be used as a means of general and special physical training in most kinds of sport. The multipurpose hand expander-massager comprises two plates between which a ball is set in the middle. The plates are linked with each other with at least two flexible elements. Moreover, contacting surfaces of the ball and the plates can be notched in the form of rings. The central part of the plates can be broadened.
EFFECT: enhanced functionality of the expander due to the possibility of gymnastic exercises with one arm or both hands of the trainee.
