FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: passive obstacle formed to weaken explosion shock waves and to slow down a falling material in order to reduce the risk of induced explosion of an explosive and/or damage of objects located in close proximity. The obstacle redirects force of a falling explosion shock wave and falling materials. The obstacle may be installed near explosive devices, inside vehicles that transport such devices, or even at the outer side of a vehicle in order to protect this vehicle or personnel. The obstacle may be formed as capable of connection with one or more obstacles and may be equipped with a stand or installed in a holder in order to increase its stability.
EFFECT: improving reliability of explosive device confinement.
