FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed engineering solutions are based on a technology through which a virtual position marker (e.g., a virtual pushpin or similar placeholder) is determined from query results. The virtual position marker corresponds to a first set of coordinates (e.g., latitude, longitude and/or altitude of an enterprise) for representing a point on the map. Various static and dynamic data can be used to select a result considered the most suitable from several query results. The virtual position marker can be output, for example, graphically displayed on map and/or used to provide audio instructions. Upon detection of changes in state, for example changes in the current position and/or changes in direction, speed, time, initial position or destination, the virtual position marker can be re-determined automatically, including changing the virtual position marker to correspond to a second set of coordinates now considered most suitable due to change in state.
EFFECT: by using the disclosed group of inventions, a user is provided with the required information at the required time without further queries.
