FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: Coriolis flow metre detects phase difference and/or frequency of vibration, which is proportional to the Coriolis force acting on at least one flow tube or a pair of flow tubes, so as to obtain specific mass flow rate and/or density of the measured fluid medium. The Coriolis flow metre includes analogue-to-digital converters for converting analogue signals from velocity or acceleration sensors, which are a pair of vibration sensors, into digital signals, a pair of quadrature frequency modulators for performing frequency conversion for digital signals, which correspond to the pair of vibration sensors, a frequency measuring module for measuring frequency based on one digital signal from the pair of vibration sensors, and a transmitting device for generating a frequency signal corresponding to θ(1-1/N) from the digital frequency signal. Phase difference is obtained based on signals generated through the quadrature frequency modulators.
EFFECT: possibility of measurement with constant accuracy and high filtration efficiency.
