FIELD: instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrument making, namely to devices for measuring mass flow of liquid carriers. Method of calibrating a dynamometer for measuring flow rate of a liquid carrier based on the Coriolis effect, according to which a rotor assembly with a central shaft of rotation is placed inside the housing and a plurality of radial channels from the outer circumference of the rotor assembly to the central cavity of the rotor assembly, rotor assembly is made of two coaxial cylinders fastened by end covers, radial channels are located in one plane, inner cylinder is fixed on a horizontal shaft, which is mounted in rotary bearings installed in a closed housing, housing encloses the rotor assembly with minimum gap and has two openings in plane of radial channels along horizontal line passing through axis of rotation, flexible pipelines are connected to the openings, the liquid carrier flow rate is measured by a dynamometer loaded with the housing and the rotor assembly, closed circulation loop is assembled, connecting in series the opening of the housing for the liquid carrier outlet by means of a flexible pipeline, reference flow meter, variable capacity compressor and housing opening for liquid carrier inlet are filled with liquid carrier and dynamometer is calibrated according to readings of reference flow meter. Pressure of liquid carrier created by compressor is selected in range exceeding pressure of liquid carrier in radial channels due to centrifugal forces, constant value of rotor rotation angular speed is set and dynamometer is calibrated at values of pressure of liquid carrier in the selected range.
EFFECT: faster calibration of a dynamometer for measuring flow rate of a liquid carrier based on the Coriolis effect.
