FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: method includes launching ammunition and monitoring parameters of its functioning by recording moments of ammunition flying by the specified points of the trajectory with the help of sensors installed in them, such as pierced film screens, in the amount selected depending on trajectory length. The average speed is detected in the specified sections, and the average speed of ammunition along the entire trajectory as well using the time of ammunition flight to a target, which is identified by a flash at the moment of its actuation at the target, and registration of the moments of ammunition flying by the specified trajectory points is carried out based on flashes from ammunition collision with screens, which are fixed using rapid camera shooting. At the same time additionally ammunition shape and its spatial position in planes of screen location is identified according to the shape of holes in screens, and additionally ammunition fragmentation is recorded in the planes of screen placement according to shape, size and number of holes in screens.

EFFECT: improved information value in process of one trial with method simplification and processing of results.
