FIELD: military.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to test benches for fragmentation ammunition. The stand for recording the velocities of striking elements for axisymmetric fragmentation ammunition contains a translucent screen, behind which there are one or more light emitters and high-speed video cameras installed in front of the screen. Limiters are placed between the screen and the ammunition to ensure the dispersion of striking elements in a designated cylindrical sector of the equatorial dispersion angle and the capture of the striking elements outside this sector. The sector axis coincides with the axis of the ammunition and is located parallel to the screen plane. The screen intercepts the zone of meridional dispersion of striking elements. On the line where the screen intersects the median plane of the ammunition, perpendicular to the axis and plane of the screen, scale markers are made.

EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of determining the velocities of striking elements and the reliability of their distribution in the flow along the meridional angle of expansion.
