FIELD: blasting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ground tests of fragmentary bomb by blasting in a shield target environment made of sheet material in the form of a flat vertical shield, namely, for experimental determination of the coordinates of holes in the shield and the initial velocities of the damage agents, including the equatorial and meridional angles of their spread. The method consists in the fact that a rectangular coordinate system OXYZ is connected to the shield marked on numbered rectangular cells, the bomb is set with the known coordinates of its center in the coordinate system of the shield, directing the flow of damage agents to the shield. The process of breaking through the shield with damage agents is recorded by a high-speed digital video camera from the side of the marking. After the test, each cell of the shield with holes is photographed with a digital camera. In a computer environment, the coordinates of the four corners of the cells – the reference points – are measured on each photo and the orientation elements of the photos are calculated. On each photo, the coordinates of the geometric centers of the holes are measured and the coordinates of these points are calculated in the coordinate system OXYZ of the shield. On one of the digital shots of a high-speed video camera, the coordinates of any four corners of the cells – reference points – are measured and the orientation elements of the shots are calculated. The coordinates of the geometric centers of the holes from the coordinate system OXYZ of the shield are recalculated into the coordinates on the shots of high-speed video cameras. Specifying the coordinates of the hole in the shot coordinate system, the fragments of shots near this hole are viewed and the time between the start of the countdown and the flash when the shield is broken by the damage agent is fixed. The holes and flashes corresponding to them are identified by the relative position of the flashes on the shot fragments and the relative position of the holes on the fragment of the hole scattering diagram in the shot coordinate system in the vicinity of the same size. Based on the coordinates of the centers of the holes in the coordinate system OXYZ of the shield, the known coordinates of the bomb in the coordinate system OXYZ of the shield and the fixed moments of time, the average velocities and ballistic coefficients of each damage agent are calculated, and from these values the modules of the initial velocities of each damage agent are calculated, as well as the equatorial (θ) and meridional (φ) angles are calculated according to the formulas.
EFFECT: increase in the information content of ground tests of fragmentary bombs while increasing the accuracy of measurements of the initial velocities of the damage agents and eliminating the loss or acquisition of false data on the breaking through the shield by the damage agents.
