SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire prevention and suppression of large-scale forest, peat, soil, steppe, industrial and emergency transport fires and creation of barrier strips ahead of fires at localization of upper and lower forest, soil, peat, steppe and other fires. Device for prevention and extinguishing of forest, industrial and emergency transport fires and lining of barrier strips, which comprises sealed housing in protective frame from composite material based on glass fiber, organic fiber or carbon fiber with components of fire-extinguishing substance placed in it, means for mixing components of fire extinguishing agent and subsequent foaming of mixture of fire-extinguishing substance components with production of foamed fire-extinguishing substance, means of supplying fire-extinguishing substance components from the housing to means for mixing components of the fire-extinguishing substance under action of pressure inside the housing, means for creating pressure inside the housing in the form of at least one solid-propellant gas generator with the possibility of creating pressure at combustion inside the housing.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of operation and simplified design while improving its compactness.
