SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire prevention and suppression of large-scale forest, peat, soil, steppe, industrial and emergency transport fires and creation of barrier strips ahead of fires at localization of upper and lower forest, soil, peat, steppe and other fires. Device for prevention and extinguishing of forest, industrial and emergency transport fires and laying of barrier strips with air-mechanical foam contains sealed housing located in protective frame with components of fire-extinguishing substance in form of component A – water and component B – water solution of foaming agent, means for mixing components of fire-extinguishing substance and subsequent foaming of mixture of components of fire-extinguishing substance with ejected air in form of interconnected at least two mixers-generators of foam of low and medium multiplicity with the possibility of obtaining at least one combined jet of air-mechanical foam average multiplicity of increased range, means of supplying fire-extinguishing substance components from the housing to a means for mixing components of the fire-extinguishing substance under the effect of pressure inside the housing and then foaming the mixture of fire-extinguishing substance components with ejected atmospheric air, means to create pressure inside housing in form of at least one solid-propellant gas generator with possibility of creation of pressure inside pressure tight housing.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of operation and simplified design while improving its compactness.
