FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to desulphurisation agents and use thereof. Described is a desulphurisation agent for liquid-phase adsorption desulphurisation, containing a metal oxide on which gold nanoparticles are deposited, having mean particle size of 50 nm or less. Described is a desulphurisation agent for liquid-phase adsorption desulphurisation, where said desulphurisation agent is fixed on a support element. Described is a desulphurisation method, which involves bringing said desulphurisation agent into contact with a liquid containing an organic compound which contains sulphur. Described is a method for reclamation of the desulphurisation agent, involving thermal treatment of the desulphurisation agent after desulphurisation in order to remove the sulphur-containing organic compound adsorbed on the desulphurisation agent. Described is a desulphurisation method, which involves bringing the desulphurisation agent, which is subjected to treatment and reclamation using the described method, into contact with a liquid containing an organic compound which contains sulphur.
EFFECT: described desulphurisation agent enables to remove sulphur compounds based on thiophenes to concentration lower than 10 ppm.
