FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of light-duty conveyor belts made from composite materials incorporated with inclined belt conveyors. Proposed method comprises the following operations. Making belt base stock by winding reinforcing cloth impregnated with binding agent and provided with recesses made on its surface on mandrel and feeding cloth first layer in mandrel recesses. Making transverse sections on base stock inner surface by fitting inserts into mandrel recesses over cloth layer. Besides, its comprises, press cure, withdrawal from mandrel and reversing conveyor belt surfaces. Note here that in making transverse sections on base stock inner surface, inserts made from cured elastomer material are used to follow shape and sizes of mandrel recesses filled with said cloth.

EFFECT: simplified production, lower labor input and power consumption.
