FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a solid composition and a coating based on sulpho-aluminate or sulpho-ferroaluminate clinker, as well as use of said coating as paint layer for cement-based bases or other binding materials, particularly as coating or paint layer for cement-based pipes. The solid composition based on calcium-sulpho-aluminate or calcium-sulpho-ferroaluminate clinker contains the following components: a) calcium-sulphoaluminate or calcium-sulpho-ferroaluminate clinker in amount of 15-95 wt % with respect to total weight of the composition; b) at least one rheology modifier, preferably derivatives of cellulose ethers, with viscosity from 2000 mPa·s to 120000 mPa·s; c) at least one adhesion-enhancing additive, preferably copolymers based on vinyl acetate, vinyl versatate and butyl acrylate; d) at least one fluidity-increasing agent, preferably of polycarboxylic nature. The coating based on calcium-sulphoaluminate or calcium-sulpho-ferroaluminate clinker contains said components and water in such an amount that, the ratio of water to binding substance ranges from 0.4 to 0.9. The invention also relates to use of said coating as coating or paint layer for cement-based pipes or other binding materials and a solid mixture from additives b), c) and d), in which b) is at least one rheology modifier, preferably derivatives of cellulose ethers with viscosity ranging from 2000 mPa·s to 120000 mPa·s; c) is at least one adhesion-enhancing additive, preferably copolymers based on vinyl acetate, vinyl versatate and butyl acrylate; d) is at least one fluidity-increasing agent, preferably of polycarboxylic nature.
