FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: shock absorber includes housing filled with magnetic fluid and containing cylindrical chamber and compensation chamber with separating piston. Hollow stock with piston is arranged in cylindrical chamber. Piston includes system of alternating poles, magnetic insulating washers with slots and anti-friction gasket. Pneumatic elastic element is arranged in puncheon and rigidly attached to hollow stock. Hollow stock includes at least two cores. Solenoid coil includes at least three sections one of which is arranged in the piston and the other ones are arranged in hollow stock on cores.

EFFECT: increasing oscillation damping efficiency.
