FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: shock absorber comprises a housing (1) with a hydraulic cavity filled with magnetorheological fluid. Throttle channels (9) are arranged circumferentially around a rod (2). Wires are placed in the rod. A magnet is placed in piston (5) and made of a winding and a core. Power lines are directed along channel axis. Control device changes current in the magnet coil depending on the speed of piston movement. A two-way pressure sensor (12) is arranged in the piston and consists of two piezoelectric plates and a metal disc. Hydraulic cavity is defined by elastic shell (3) with the rod vulcanized therein on one side. The other side is defined by gas chamber (8) with partial mixture of gases with close temperatures of phase transitions.
EFFECT: expansion of functional capabilities of the shock-absorber, elimination of piston misalignment under impact loads, reduction of power consumption.
